Ribeyes & Horseradish Potatoes

Trimmed Ribeye Steaks

As I stared at my 13 pound prime rib roast on Christmas day, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to trim my own personal steaks. Knowing that I had a new grill sitting in the garage eager to be fired up, probably had something to do with it. With a healthy dose of Kosher Salt and freshly crack black pepper, the steaks hit the grill.

The horseradish potatoes are fairly simple. They are made just like any mashed potatoes. Real potatoes are best. Add sour cream and prepared hot horseradish to taste. The horseradish goes great with the ribeye steak. I love garlic mashed potatoes and thought the horseradish was a good substitute since I love it on prime rib.

Not a long article here, but sometimes pictures tell the whole story. Nothing beats a good steak.
