BBQ Meat: Goat
I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of the same old stuff. Brisket, Chicken, Pork, Ribs, Steaks etc. I need something new.
How about goat? Yeah, goat. Kids to be more exact. I haven’t tried this yet myself, but I plan to. I’ve eaten a lot of curried goat in Indian and Jamaican restaurants so why not try it on the grill? Check out The Shamless Carnivore’s story.





I have to say I’m a huge fan of the goat. I recently lost a local resource for fresh goat and life hasn’t been the same. While kebobs are fun and quick, so far my favorite is the goat leg.
Remove bone (save to replace at the end), slather with extra virgin, s&p, fresh crushed garlic, fresh thyme &cilantro, toasted & ground corriander seeds. Replace bone, tie up and s&p the exterior. Toss in smoker until internal temp is 138, pull and let rest.
