Kate - Porkslap has only been out for about a year. I'm glad you liked it. The guys who brew it are fantastic and I wish them much success. - Robert

There is one wine that I also like at a barbecue, especially if there is some spicy sausages or something similar, and that is a gerwurtztraminer, New Zealanders make some nice ones but the best come from Alsace in France where they don't make any red wine of note, but their white wines carry enough weight to go surprisingly well with some meat dishes.

I just had Porkslap Ale for the first time this year and really liked it. It certainly isn't very mainstream
