Henckels, like Wusthof, are forged knives. They do however offer stamped versions.</description>

					<description>Thank you for pointing out the fact that Henckels are not actually forged anymore, but rather use stamped metal with the bolsters welded to the sides.  Few people realize this.  Bolsters are no longer a reliable way to determine whether a knife is forged or not.</description>
